Sardinia’s best-kept secret. Property of late lamented singer, author and poet, Fabrizio De Andrè.
Needless to say, when we first saw the Agnata it literally blew our minds. And yes, we admit that we sometimes do get passionate when reviewing our properties, but how could it possibly be otherwise when describing this fairy-tale place. A true hideaway, the Agnata di De André is tucked away between majestic mountains and accessible via a 7-kilometre path amidst hectares of cork forest and vineyards – and just a couple more turns to the village of Tempio Pausania.
Open from April to October.
Double rooms start from 169 € per night. Use the calendar to find the rate and availability on a specific date and to book online.
A place charged with history. The Agnata was acquired in the early ‘70s by Fabrizio De Andrè, who eventually transformed it into a working factory and then into an agriturismo (country hotel). Today, the property is still owned by Fabrizio De Andrè’s family and managed with tact and charm by young hoteliers Angelica and Fabrizio.
Rooms: 10 rooms appointed with refined antique furniture. All boast a terrace with views of the surrounding mountains and of the pool on the first floor, or on the garden floor with direct access to the swimming pool on the ground floor.
Restaurant: The restaurant offers a set menu of meat, consisting of four courses that changes daily based on the availability of products, and is based on traditional Sardinian dishes, mainly "Gallura". Fee 35,00 € per person (drinks not included) with an aperitif at sunset included.
Facilities: swimming pool.

L'Agnata di De Andre was wonderful. Very fun and pleasant managers and staff...everyone was excited about what they were creating there from the cooks to the gardeners. We felt like we dropped into a little corner of paradise and didn't get into the car for two days. - Peggy, United States of America
