A place with a story. In the early 1900s, Barbara's great-grandfather once owned "La Locanda" - the only hotel Mandas ever had and that eventually closed a couple of decades later. Almost a century later, Barbara and Gian Luca secretly cherished the dream to once more open an inn in Mandas. They recently rescued this old townhouse from neglect and poured in love and hard work to make it shine - and put Mandas back on the tourist map.
Bar: there is no bar as such - however, if Barbara or Gian Luca are around they will be happy to prepare something for you.
Restaurant: You have a very informal tavern right next door -the kind of place where locals gather to watch football matches- and it has excellent pizzas.
Breakfast is served in the lovely dining room - and there's no risk of queuing for a table.
Breakfast includes hot and cold drinks, yoghurt, cakes, freshly baked croissants, bread, local salami and cheese, eggs, nuts, tomatoes, local honey, selection of jams.
