Charming 18th Century chateau, homely and romantic, with endless rural land – and cottagey rooms in the orchard.
The Chateaux des Briottières is probably as close as you can get to a luxury hotel, while staying on a privately owned estate. The old family photos and portraits are there to attest that the chateau has been in François’ family for six generations. The castle hosts salons, with their impressive chandeliers, silk fabrics and marble fireplaces, as well as the deluxe and junior suite rooms.
For a more country-chic and close to nature stay, choose the grand guesthouse, Le Fruitier, which hosts the standard rooms.
Open year round.
Double rooms start at 123 € per night. Use the calendars to verify the rate and availability on a specific date and to book online.
The 50 hectares manicured park of the Chateau des Briottières, where you get all the activities of a mere resort, while staying in an authentic Loire chateau: heated swimming pool, tennis court, bicycles and even horse riding.
