Gorgeous B&B in the leafy heart of the island. A stay here is probably as close as you can get to real-Sardinia.
Hidden away among green rolling hills, the small cobbled village of Gergei is pretty much off the beaten tracks. Here a small family-run bed & breakfast oozes style and charm. The Domu Antiga surroundings are home to some of the last wild horses of Europe, millenary olive groves and endless pastures, as well as the best-maintained archaeological complexes of Sardinia.

I think our favorite is Domu Antiga in Gergei. Both Samuel and his father could not have been more welcoming and informative. The rooms were comfortable and the whole atmosphere was warm and relaxing. We had Samuel's mother prepare dinner for us one of the nights and it was excellent! - Peggy, United States of America
