Breakfast. The breakfast at the Beaumanoir hotel in Biarritz is something, starting with the setting: a dramatic 10-meter long marble table topped with Sevillian chandeliers and opening onto the Basque country blue sky, vines, palm and olive trees. Don’t look for the buffet – there isn’t any. Breakfast is a proper meal here and served along with Mariage Frères teas or a selection of the world’s finest coffees.
