Charming converted mill nestled in the heart of the leafy Perigord Noir, with a tasty restaurant and a temptuous pool.
The mill is a gorgeous piece of restoration, converted into a small charming hotel just recently; Le Moulin de Mitou hotel retains much of its original features. The interiors are rustic-chic with fine patiné furniture and exposed beams. The new rooms in the contemporary annex retain the elegant design of the mill adding a more close-to-nature-at-wakeup experience.

The glorious nature all around. Deep-cut valleys between limestone cliffs, with fields of maize in the alluvial bottoms and dense oak woods on the heights. Walnut tree plantations, flocks of low-slung grey geese and prehistoric-looking stone huts called bories. Touring and contempling in these parts of the woods is as good as it gets.
