Country-cool little hotel with a tasteful restaurant, surrounded by white horses, rolling meadows and fairy-tale hamlets.
Halfway between Paris and the Atlantic coastline, in a secret angle of Normandy, Moustier au Perche is a slice of rural paradise. The sleepy hamlet has been a staging post since the 19th Century. Nowadays, and despite the fact that the Relais de Poste has become La Villa Fol Avril and comfortable sedans have replaced the stagecoaches on the parking lot, not much has changed over here. And that suits us just fine.
An antidote to city life.

A stylish boutique hotel with a soul that is intimately linked to its territory. Sandrine and Philippe rescued the ancient coaching inn from neglect using almost exclusively local materials and know-how to make the Hotel Villa Fol Avril. The authentic features of the 19th Century house were kept, whether as their original mean (exposed timbers) or diverted (ancient hayrack and shutters as quirky headboards), antiques come from the local flee markets and the contemporary pieces were made by local craftsmen.
Rooms: 12 rooms and suites of sizes (15m2 to 45m2) and rates (€80 to €180) suitable for all tastes and purses – while they are all individually and tastefully appointed.
Bar & Restaurant: Tasty and affordable. The restaurant of La Villa Fol Avril offers a refreshing look at typical bistro-type cuisine. The menu is voluntarily limited in order to consent the exclusive use of fresh produce. The setting is informal and cosy.
Pool: Outdoor heated pool.
